I specialize in helping people feel more emotionally regulated as they balance their sense of self with cultural expectations and responsibility.
As a professional with lived experience navigating identity and assimilation, I have a unique understanding of how race and systemic issues impact mental health. I don't shy away from these issues in therapy! In fact, I find that these are central themes in my work with clients.
Additionally, many of my past roles involved supporting people through crisis and high levels of stress, so my therapeutic style is highly personalized, targeted, and allows space for very heavy emotions.
I am also trained in Othmer Method neurofeedback, supervised by Kalene Khan, LMFT, which provides an integrative, powerful method of "resetting" the nervous system. This is especially meaningful for those with pervasive anxiety who are seeking more balanced brain activity.
